General mine supply and strategic sourcing
A single enquiry route for urgent, unusual and project-based requirements
General sourcing is one enquiry route for everything that does not fit a catalogue — urgent, obsolete, unusual and project-based items across mechanical, electrical, conveyor, crusher, plant and earthmoving categories. If we do not stock or regularly supply it, we run the cross-reference, investigate local and international sources, and manage the quotation route from specification to delivery.
Overview
What general mine supply and strategic sourcing covers
General sourcing is one enquiry route for everything that does not fit a catalogue — urgent, obsolete, unusual and project-based items across mechanical, electrical, conveyor, crusher, plant and earthmoving categories. If we do not stock or regularly supply it, we run the cross-reference, investigate local and international sources, and manage the quotation route from specification to delivery.
No promise of "any part worldwide" or guaranteed lead times before supplier confirmation. Enquiries are quoted "subject to technical confirmation, availability, export/import requirements and final quotation."
Choosing
How a sourcing enquiry is worked
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Identify | Part-number and manufacturer cross-reference; interchange tables for bearings, seals and standard components; identification from photos, drawings, samples or measurements |
| Investigate | Local manufacturer and distributor sourcing; international supplier identification and import coordination; obsolete-item alternatives and replacement paths |
| Quote | OEM and quality aftermarket options, priced subject to technical confirmation, availability, export/import requirements and final quotation |
| Deliver | Consolidated RFQs and project supply packages; freight and import coordination to the agreed Incoterms |
Selection
How we select it with you
Send us as much of the following as you have. Partial information is fine — our engineer will come back with the questions needed to finalise the spec, or attend site for an engineering assessment where the problem needs diagnosing first.
- 01The part number, manufacturer and description — or a drawing, a sample, or measured dimensions
- 02The machine make, model and serial where the item is machine-specific
- 03Quantity, delivery destination and the required date
- 04Any required certificate, standard or mine specification
- 05Whether this is a breakdown or a planned / project requirement
